Summary:
TOP THREE REASONS TO VISIT EUROPE:
1. Explore foreign cultures
2. Sample outstanding food
3. Desperately flee impending personal crisis

Lenny left his wife, Monique, a bucket list of things they’d dreamed of doing together before cancer took his life. For four years, she ignored it, too busy raising their daughter to consider the painful task of resurrecting shattered dreams.
But when her next-door neighbor, Judy, starts a slow slide into a personal crisis, and another friend, Becky, receives shocking news about her future, Monique realizes that Lenny’s legacy could be a gift to three women in desperate need of a new perspective.
Whisking her friends away on adventures from London to Paris, from Monaco to Milan, she is determined to follow the bucket list to the letter-until one eventful evening knocks the three friends off the beaten path. Caught up in adventures of their own making, they begin to understand: Sometimes getting lost is the only way to find what you’re really looking for.

Review:
Loved this book! It feels as though you are traveling along with these women while they find themselves again. It was a nice relaxed book, you could vision the scenes as they unfolded through the words, and laugh along with the characters. I have never been to Europe but now I know what to expect.
The Bucket List of adventure takes the women, neighbors: Monique, Judy and Becky through Castles, walking off cliffs, Paris catacombs, eating at a restaurant with no lights and a lot more. Friendship Makes the Heart Grow Fonder was not only a journey of fun, but it was a journey of them learning about themselves, growing friendships, and the growing they had to overcome with their decisions of the present.
I would recommend this book and add this author to my Must Reads!

About the Author:
Lisa Verge Higgins is the RITA-nominated author of sixteen novels that have been published worldwide and translated into as many languages–quite a switch for this former PhD candidate in chemistry. Now this opera loving mother of three is creating heartwarming new stories revolving around women’s lives and women’s friendship. THE PROPER CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF FRIENDSHIP, her first foray into mainstream women’s fiction, won the 2011 Golden Leaf Award for Best Single Title, and was chosen as one of the top twenty novels of the year by the Barnes & Noble General Fiction Book Club. Her second book, ONE GOOD FRIEND DESERVES ANOTHER, cracked the same list in 2012.
