Summary
You’re alone. You’re vulnerable. And you have something that someone else wants. At any cost…
Claudia Morgan-Brown finally has it all. Pregnant with a much-wanted first baby of her own, she has a happily established family of two small step-sons and a loving husband with a great career. But she is also committed to her full-time job as a social worker, and her husband travels often. So when Claudia hires Zoe to help her around the house in anticipation of the baby’s arrival, it seems like the answer to her prayers. But despite Zoe’s glowing recommendations and instant rapport with the children, there’s something about her that Claudia cannot trust.

Moreover, there has been a series of violent attacks on pregnant women in the area, and Claudia becomes acutely aware of her vulnerability. With her husband out of town for work and her family far away, who will be there to protect her? And why does she feel unsettled about Zoe? Realizing appearances can be deceiving even in her seemingly perfect world, Claudia digs deeper into Zoe’s blurry past and begins to wonder – how far would someone go to have a child of her own?

Riveting from its very first pages, Until You’re Mine is a multilayered masterwork of twisted, psychological suspense. Readers of Before I Go to Sleep and Turn of Mind will be enthralled by this multilayered novel, featuring a twisted plot that ends in a breathtaking and shocking finale.

Review
What a shocking, page turner twisted crime thriller!
One of the best twisted books I have read this year, definitely in the top. It was so well written, the plot was stunning and surprising.
There was so much going on within this book, not hard to follow, but it was enough to keep you guessing what was happening. Hayes really hit this book into a top-seller, in my opinion. It was a discomfiting story of a very pregnant woman, Claudia- who is married to James, Royal Navy officer and has adopted step children, a mysterious nanny, Zoe – who is involved with a woman who wants to have a baby, and a police investigator, Lorraine, whose marriage and personal life with Adam are on the rocks.
Claudia is a social worker, she has also realized how to deal with her husband being gone for long trips at a time. Claudia hires Zoe, the nanny, to stay with her to help with the twin boys, and to help her when the baby arrives soon.

Lorraine is a police detective, a mother of two girls, and married to Adam, who is also a police detective. Lorraine and Adam are trying to overcome their sucky marriage, and have came together into co-investigating the pregnant murders. The murders were brutal, gruesome, but it told the story that needed to be told.
With the three ladies the story unfolds the gruesome tell. There are so many secrets, but eventually you are sucked right into who is telling the truth, and who is lying. You will be guessing up until the very end.

About the Author
My latest novel is In Too Deep, a standalone story about a husband who goes missing and just how far his wife and daughter will go to find him – a gripping thriller that asks ‘How well can you really know your family?’ Good Housekeeping says “We’re big fans of Samantha Hayes. Her believable psychological thrillers are completely gripping, and In Too Deep is no exception.”
Meantime, I’m working away on my next novel… which is deliciously reminiscent as it’s set in Cornwall, taking me back to the wild beaches and windy clifftops of my childhood summers.
