Peyton Williams is spoiled, entitled and a little too stuck up. The daughter of an influential Mayor and a socialite mother, she’s trying to get through college and make her own path. She’s perfectly happy being a loner until Spring semester when she gets not only a roommate, but a math tutor.
Wyatt Parker is the boy from the wrong side of town. Known as the son of the town tramp, he jumps at the scholarship to play basketball in Nashville where no one knows his roots. Spending this semester tutoring a friend’s snobby roommate wasn’t what he envisioned, but Peyton quickly gets under his skin.
Peyton never wanted more until she met Wyatt, but is she willing to be what he needs?
Wyatt is such a sweet guy. He comes off macho since he is a “jock” and plays college basketball. He has some serious patience, along with determination. He knows how to play the game, as well as knows what steps to take to keep what he wants.
Peyton is a girl who doesn’t want to get close to anyone, and especially doesn’t want to be someone’s girlfriend. She is at college to get her degree and doesn’t need a distraction.
Peyton gets a new roommate after spending time alone to herself in her dorm. She is not accepting of the roommate, Kat. Kat also brings in a bunch of guys, which Peyton doesn’t find fascinating.
Wyatt is attracted to Peyton, and he will do anything to make her see him.
Stacey knows how to make you fall in love with college kids, and does a damn good job keeping your attention in the book. Every page makes you want to keep going. She builds her characters with her words, there is no skipping, no jumping.. there is solidness that makes you beg! Can’t wait to see what this group has in store in the rest of the Nashville Night Series.
About the Author
Stacey Lewis is the New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author of Second Chances, Shadows of the Past (co-authored with H.M. Ward), the Nashville Nights series, and the Nashville U series.
She’s also the single mom of three amazingly crazy boys and since she’s a transplanted Yankee, considers herself a big city girl living in a small town. Because she can’t live in the cities she loves – Nashville, New York, Chicago – she writes about people who do instead. When she isn’t writing, you can usually find her curled up with a sexy book, or more accurately, scrolling through Tumblr. She also isn’t afraid to admit her favorite addictions: Tumblr GIF’s, social media, Spotify, Dr. Pepper, and of course, dirty books. Hunky heroes with control issues and strong heroines who stand up to them are her weakness. She loves to talk books – not just her own – with anyone, so send her a message!
