Summary
What if you won the opportunity of a lifetime?
The chance to go from nothing to something
practically overnight?

Farrow Connoley is practically a celebrity – online.
She runs a successful blog, with thousands of followers.
In reality, she leads a boring, unremarkable life.

Entering a contest, one lonely January night,
brings about changes she dreamed of,things she never thought possible.
Like meeting Kasen Wells, a reluctant movie star,
struggling with the fame he never wanted.

Craving an easy going, normal life, will he walk away from it all?
Should Farrow embrace her fifteen minutes,
or cling to the mediocrity of her everyday existence?
Or will fate intervene, making their choices for them?

Review
I absoutely fell in love with Kasen, and Farrow. Who knew a “normal” book blogging girl could be swept off her feet by a celebrity?!
Kasen, Kasen, Kasen! Just oh my WOWs! We will get more to that in just a sex.. second.
Farrow, just an ordinary girl in the book blogging world, who won a chance to be the exclusive reporter and or blogger of a book made into a movie. How awesome would that be!? (insert day-dreaming here) She has access for the behind-the-scene footage, well the ones she could go to, and she got to meet a lot of celebrities. She got to the see the world of Hollywood, and their endless days or nights.
I loved Farrow’s ambitions, her character, and the way she is independent. I loved the corkiness, the flirting, and the friendship that formed between Kasen and Farrow. A lot of moments I was beyond smiling.
Kasen, such a sweet soul. I loved it when they went to see his mom, you could feel the love through the pages. At times during the book I wanted to hurt him, like maybe punch him in the arm, but hey.. I can just say -ugh, men!- but overall he is a romantic, and who doesn’t love that?
If you are looking for a sweet, easy, humor, and some romance then I would say try this book out! I have found another author that I love ❤ Maybe you will love the book just as much as I did…

Summary
Lyric Hayes spent the first 22 years of her life trying to be the perfect daughter and the perfect girlfriend. After a tragedy and her fiance’s betrayal, she’s running. Starting over far away from the person she used to be.

She’s made herself a vow – no relationships. She’s trying to heal, not complicate her life further.

David Pearson has it all. Confidence, awesome friends, successful business. But, David’s dealt with loss too. He knows better than anyone not to judge by what’s on the surface.

Drawn to Lyric despite her inability to trust, he’ll do anything to own her heart.

Will secrets and misunderstandings send Lyric running again? Or will David finally save her from herself?

Review
Really loved Lyric’s story. Save Me From Myself was full of heartbreak, self-worth, determination, finding yourself and how to let go without being completely broken.
Lyric is such a strong, but yet insecure woman. She has been through so much in just a short amount of time, but she left her past behind to rebuild who she is.
David is a complete true man. He knows just what needs to be done to get the job done. He doesn’t let love blind him, and is completely the perfect guy. I loved his demeanor. He didn’t go looking for love, but love walked into his life; as goes for Lyric.
If you love easy, fun, rebuilding romance books, you definitely need to find this. I had no clue the ending would come out the way it did, it was really worth it.

Summary
There’s a fine line between love and hate, so fine that you don’t know you’ve lost balance until it’s too late.
I’m not sure exactly when I lost my balance, all I know is that he was to blame.
Dane Winters.
The boy who’d spent most of his life hating me for reasons I never understood.

** ** ** ** ** **

It was no secret that I hated her, but only I knew why.
She was off-limits.
And then our separate worlds collided with one tragedy.
It wasn’t her fault, I knew that, but I wanted her to hurt the way I did, and I needed someone to blame. She was an easy target.
Kennedy Monroe.
The girl I’d picked on all our lives.
And the woman I barely tolerated.
Until the line between love and hate was no longer visible…

*Due to mature content this book is not suitable for readers younger than 18*

Review
I cried, I hated, I smiled, I cried… and I cheered! Oh My Gosh, so many emotions!
There were times I wanted to punch Dane right in the face, and there were times I was crying because I never expected anything. Sure, we all read romances, so we get the general jest of what happens in a book, but come on! This book is a must read! You will totally understand why my emotions were all over the place, and it will have you begging to read more.
Kennedy is always trying to be nice, and just go on about her life; however, Dane always has to put his nose where it doesn’t belong. I was to the point of wanting her to just cuss him like a dog, and leave him as trash. But once the story kept building you can see why everything happens the way it does, dang stupid family “drama” and their “reasons for hate”.
I loved Kennedy’s friend Jade, and how she was always there when she needed to be, and even Kennedy was there for Jade. True friendship is something hard to come by, but Tamsyn Bester played this book out perfectly, and I couldn’t see it any other way. She warmed my heart, and my soul… I am a FAN!

“You’re not alone, and you never have been. I might not be here anymore, but you have people who care about you. Don’t allow your past to dictate your future. And always remember that I love you.”

Review
As most of you know I took a sho—long break from reading, and I am finally back up and running. Off Sides is the first book I picked up since coming back around. I have to say that Sawyer Bennett kept me reading more with this first book to the “Off” Series.
Danny (Danielle) is a waitress, volunteer, and a college student all rolled into one amazing person. The main male model in the book is Ryan, a captain Hockey player, and has more money than he knows what to do with. This book hit me square in reality, and for that I need to invest in the other books to get to grow more with the characters.
I loved the way the characters built during the process of reading this book, but it definitely leaves you wanting to know more about Ryan and Danny.
Thank you so much for showing me another book, and into another escape.

We walk to my Range Rover that Danny had driven today. She hands me the keys and I open the door to let her in. Before she steps in, I stop her and she looks at me. She has purple bruising over her right cheekbone. I reach my fingers out and skim over it gently. She closes her eyes at the touch. -80% Kindle

Summary
Sometimes, one dark moment is all it takes to turn your world black…
For 24-year old Dominic Kinkaide, that moment took place on the night of his high school graduation. One dark incident changed him forever. He’s a hardened actor now, famous in the eyes of the world, but tortured in his own. He doesn’t care about much of anything, except for losing himself in the roles that he plays.
23-year old Jacey Vincent doesn’t realize how much her father’s indifference has affected her. She is proof that sometimes it isn’t one specific moment that wrecks a person, but rather it’s an absence of moments. She’s like a bird with a broken wing-strong yet fragile, as she tries to float through life, finding acceptance in the arms of random guys, one after the other… to fill the void that her father left in her.
Until she meets Dominic.
After jaded Dominic and strong-willed Jacey are thrown together, his secret and her issues create a dark and damaged energy that will soon turn their attraction to each other into an explosive storm.
Even though when the clouds have cleared and the dust has settled, both of them are almost obliterated… they’ve learned a priceless lesson.
Sometimes, before we fall… we fly.

Review
Oh, the pain, the tears… the words. painfully captivating

Wow!! Yep, this book is by far, the best one of the year. I could not put it down, and I wanted more even when I finished!
I am so sad our local libraries doesn’t even have Courtney Cole, much less the beginning of the series, because I totally would load up on the other 2 books!
Dominic is so dark, mysterious, but he has so many walls up. Jacey knows something is bothering Dominic before he even tells her. She can read him like a book, and she is so sweet.
Before We Fall had me in tears, and I was fighting for everything. The story had me on the edge of my seat, squeezing tissues, putting my book down to clear my eyes so I could continue reading. However, these were not bad tears. These tears was tears of happiness, watching walls being torn down, frustration, and watching emotions fly across the pages. There was even parts where I caught myself smiling.
Jacey’s a powerful person, her will to give, and her passion is something that we should all live for. Jacey continues to push through life through the number of odds that was set out against her. However, she still smiled, loved surprises, and wanted to help everyone she could.
When Dominic and Jacey get together it is like immediately attraction, you can feel the “spark” before you even take off through the rest of the book. That “spark” only gets better as Jacey and Dominic intertwine through their own emotions, and heartache.
I completely will tell you to give this book a try! I am going to find the rest of the series, and I bet you will be looking for those books too! Now go, go, and Happy Reading!

Summary

Will Moya finally do the impossible and give love a chance with Branden, or will fear keep them apart?
New Adult novel about finding love and oneself.

Review
I could not put Impossibly Love down, and I read it completely in one sitting. Man, the story line hit close to home with the understanding of Moya’s past. I guess it is why I found it so hard to put the book down.
When I met my husband, I was guarded, lost, and closed off to the world. I know how hard it is when you have been hurt over and over again. I love how Shane captured the hurt, feelings, and brought it into the book.
Branden’s stubbornness, I guess you can say, is what brought light to the book. I loved the way his story told it from his point of view, and the way he thought things through. He didn’t have to be the bad guy to get her attention, or want to take Moya immediately to his room. He wanted to get to know her, know about her, and it definitely gave the book a rounded aspect.
Branden’s secret will have you either biting your tongue to hold back tears, or needing the tissues beside you as you read deeper into the book.
Impossibly Love is rated G, it is definitely a sweet clean romance, and I completely enjoyed it.

★ ☆★ ☆ – 4 Stars

Summary: (Goodreads)
Isabel thought her life was on track – she was doing well in college, moving quickly toward her future, and deciding who she wanted to be. Best of all, she’d reunited with Tom, the swim coach she had a secret affair with in high school. But it doesn’t take long for her history – and his – to start catching up with them.
When Isabel goes back to her college life, after spending a blissful summer reuniting with Tom, things take a dangerous turn. Isabel gets swept up in a relationship with a dark, mysterious professor, with whom she begins a covert love affair that could ruin everything she has rebuilt with Tom. Worse, she starts to hear rumors from friends back home – rumors about a teacher having affairs with students. And Tom seems to be at the center of the controversy. Will Isabel’s instincts about what Tom’s been up to during their time apart drive her farther away, or will she forgo her new romance to run to Tom’s defense?

My Review:
I couldn’t stop reading this book! There was a lot of back and forth of emotions I had to deal with when reading though.
Number 1 – Isabel’s “thoughts” were so irrational. Most of her decisions made me want to throw the book at times. Other times I could understand her “rational” thinking due to her previous involvements.
Number 2 – Tom’s inability to walk away when he could. The heartache he must have went through was something that we didn’t go in depth on, but I could only imagine his ever though, or well-being.
Number 3 – How could anyone ever think this is okay!? There is so much about this book that makes me cringe. I guess being a parent sheds a light in a whole other angle.
On another hand, I loved the storyline. I read this book before the first one, and I picked up right where it left off. I guess this book could be a stand-alone because I sure got the “jiffs” of the idea going on. I absolutely loved the flow of the words Eva put into every word. It was really captivating. Here I am sitting here right before bed already wanting to know about the next book, the cliffhanger off this book will drive me bonkers! haha!!
